The Left side panel contains the main menu elements of the program. The user can create new job, open existing jobs here, manage the layers, and setting up the program.

The width of the menu can be adjusted by dragging the title section of the panel.
The menu contains the following elements:
| • | Jobs: create, open, import and export Jobs |
| • | Content: create, open layers, manage layer structure, modify layer appearance |
| • | Settings: modify the various parts of the program |
| • | Software: shows different information about the software |
| • | Help: displays the online help |
| • | Exit: exit the program |
